I cannot take credit for the initial, basic design of these unique bracelets. The form and techniques were taught to me by a wonderful, talented instructor, Vicky, at a conference I attended. I did however, make a couple of slight adjustments to what I learned.
These bracelets start with a copper wire core. It is then wrapped with a binder of choice. Very thin strips of artifial sinew are an excellent choice for this. Beads of all sorts help create the center design. I like to use semi-precious stones and crystals, not only for their beauty, but also for their healing and mystical properties. The pine needles can be used in their natural color, as well as being dyed to create a multitude of colors and designs.
So, for those that believe in the medicinal and the mystical powers of naturals elements, or for those who just love unique wearable art; these bracelets might be just the thing for you!
